I can deal with all areas of your final accounts’ preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Accounts, however, are far more than just a statutory requirement. With a little guidance you can start to use them to help you understand your business and make it work in a more streamlined and profitable way.

Tax

From Self-Assessment to Corporation Tax and VAT, I can take the headache out of dealing with HMRC, ensuring that your tax is dealt with efficiently and on time.

While I avoid overly aggressive tax strategies utilised by large multi nationals, the savings made by just doing it properly are often significant. You won’t pay more tax than is fair.

Management accounts

I can also offer a more involved service where I visit your premises on a regular basis and assist your team in producing worthwhile financial reports, enabling you to run your business more efficiently .

In many instances, businesses can operate without knowing the areas that generate the most profit, or indeed how that profit disappears! Providing too much information is as useless as no information at all. A few regular, well thought out reports can help management concentrate on what should be done in order to maximise productivity

 

Payroll

Payroll presents a great strain to an organisation’s resources, with the smallest error potentially resulting in fines from HMRC and disgruntled employees.

To allow me to concentrate fully on the other areas of your accounts, I (along with other accountants) work closely with B&W Payroll Services who have had many years' experience dealing with all aspect of payroll, including the burden of auto enrolment.

While I are more than competent in other areas, I am aware that most people only require 4 things from their accountant:

  • Their accounts are dealt with in an efficient manner.

  • The accounts provide useful information for the effective management of their business.

  • Their tax liability is as low as legally possible.

  • The fee for doing this is fair.


I believe that a good accountancy service should be unobtrusive, allowing you to do what you do, whilst ensuring that you do not incur fines or interest for not complying with financial law.
